Airod Executive Union (AEU) represents 924 workers of executive and engineer level at Airod Sdn. Bhd., a specialized maintenance company for military, commercial and personal aircrafts in Malaysia.
AEU was formed in 2000 in Subang, Selangor by Bro. Pak Singh A/L Keshar Singh (President), Bro Ariff Bin Ahmad (Secretary) and others.
The mission of AEU is to promote the rights and interests of its members through signing better collective agreements, improving their lives through educational, economic and social programmes, ensuring continuous economic growth can be shared by members together.
In the 2020-2022 collective agreement, AEU members enjoy benefits such as 10% salary adjustment from 2019 to 2020, 39 hour of work per week, additional 3% EPF contribution (not more than 15%), 5-day paternity leave and 60-day maternity leave, 1-month haj leave and annual bonus.
Various allowances such as shift allowance, oversea duty allowance, laundry allowance, special vehicle allowance and others will be given if some conditions agreed by both parties are fulfilled.
Now, the union is led by Bro. Ros Azurin Bin Abdul Halim (President) and Syamsul Azwan Bin Mustar (Secretary).
