Solidarity with Korean unions

The Labour Law Reform Coalition submitted a protest letter to the Embassy of Korea in Kuala Lumpur on 30 May 2023, urging the Korean government to stop all repression against Korean trade unions and drop malicious prosecution against more than 100 unionists.

We called on the Korean government to amend the article 2 and 3 of the Trade Union and Labour Relation Adjustment Act to bring it in line with international standards. It ought to be done after the Korean government ratified the ILO Convention 87 and 98.
